Hello all!
I'm back from the holidays (finally) and ready to show you my small but humble winter '09 collection of knitwear accessories. Even though they're being modeled by a woman, these pieces are unisexual. They can be enjoyed by the men and the women.
Let's begin:
1. MELT COWL
This is a soft cowl knit in a puckered stitch. It's a chunky knit, made from a (really) soft grey tweed wool.
(The pearls you see are from
Bittersweets, which is a very cool jewelry company based here in NYC.)
2. HOOD CAPE
Hooded cape. Doubles as a big neckwarmer.
3. SLEEVE SCARF
This is a simple and straightforward piece that has a strong effect, I think.
4. MELT SLEEVES (BLACK and GREY TWEED)
Fingerless elbow-length gloves with thumb hole. Knit in puckered stitch.
5. SKIN SCARF
Wool-stainless steel lace scarf.
(Surprisingly the stainless steel makes this scarf smooth with an interesting texture.)
6. CHAIN NECKLACE
Several feet of real chains wrapped in black merino wool. Light enough to be worn comfortably around the neck as a necklace. And the wool keeps your neck warm.
